Kristina Helene
Kristina Helene is an award winning singer/songwriter based in Victoria, BC. Earlier in her career, she traveled to LA to write and record at the studio of award-winning producer CJ Vanston, known for his work with Prince, Tina Turner, Joe Cocker, and Spinal Tap, a collaboration that continued for seven years. During this time, Kristina had the opportunity to work on a variety of exciting musical projects, including recording at the iconic Capitol Records with legendary engineer and record producer Al Schmitt and Steve Genewick.
She has since shared the stage with renowned musicians, including David Foster and nuevo flamenco guitarist Jesse Cook, and has opened for Jim Cuddy (Blue Rodeo) and a cappella group Naturally 7.
Alongside her husband and musical partner, Thomas Kinzel, together they continue to captivate audiences across Vancouver Island with their live performances. During the pandemic, the duo expanded their reach online, connecting with listeners worldwide.
Currently, Kristina and Thomas are working on writing Kristina's first full length album.

Kristina and Thomas are available for travel as long as all travel expenses including food and accommedations are covered. If you are based in the USA or outside of Canada, you will need to apply for a temporary work permit to have us at your event. Please contact for further details.
Kristina books up quickly, especially in the summer and during special holidays. Booking in advance is highly recommended to secure your preferred date and ensure ample time for planning and preparation.

For the up beat dance set, a wedding DJ or a party band would be best suited for that portion of your special day.

"Kristina and Thomas added the perfect romantic touch to our wedding reception with their beautiful renditions of jazz standards. We had three sets of music over the evening, including softer tunes during cocktails, and then a livelier set for dancing. Kristina and Thomas helped us choose our set list, and learned a couple of new songs just for our wedding. We were a bit nervous about doing our first dance accompanied by live music, but Kristina and Thomas played our song at the perfect tempo and made sure the big finish was on cue. We received many compliments from wedding guests on how well-suited their music was to the occasion. In the times we have been lucky to catch them playing a show in town, it has brought back wonderful memories of our special day."

Standard Cancellation Policy
If you need to cancel your booking, please notify us as soon as possible. Our cancellation terms are as follows:

Deposits: A 50% deposit is required to secure your date. This deposit is non-refundable as it covers time spent preparing for your event and securing the date.

Cancellations More Than 7 Days Before the Event: If the event is canceled more than one week in advance, no additional fees are required beyond the non-refundable deposit.

Cancellations Within 7 Days of the Event: If the event is canceled within 7 days of the performance, the full balance is due as it is unlikely that the date can be rebooked on short notice. However, we are happy to apply the payment toward a rescheduled date within 6 months, subject to availability.

Force Majeure: In the event of unforeseen circumstances beyond your control (e.g., natural disasters, serious illness, or government restrictions), the remaining balance will not be charged, regardless of how close to the event the cancellation occurs. The non-refundable deposit still applies.

Rescheduling: If you'd like to reschedule, we will do our best to accommodate a new date within 6 months of the original booking. Rescheduling is subject to availability, and the 50% deposit will be transferred to the new date. If a cancellation occurs within 7 days and the full balance is paid, 50% of the total fee may be used as a credit towards the future booking.
